Welcome, educators! We are thrilled to have you on board for this exciting mission on the International Space Station! Membership in the ISS EarthKAM Community entitles students and educators to select and target images of the Earth to be photographed by the ISS EarthKAM camera onboard the International Space Station. Membership also involves submitting sample image explorations and completing an online evaluation form, as described below. Students:
- Track the International Space Station using the Web.
- Select locations of interest that the Station flies over.
- Submit their image requests to ISS EarthKAM, where the requests are processed before
being sent to NASA and then up into space.
- Continue to explore and learn from images.
- Learn the challenges, excitement and responsibilities of participating in
space missions.
